From Brattleboro and Points South:
From Interstat 91, take Exit 4 and turn right onto Route 5 north.  Go about 3/4 of a mile to the center of Putney Village.  Turn left on the Westminster West Road by the Putney General Store.  Go exactly 4 miles to the second entrance to McKinnon Road.  (McKinnon is a U-shaped road that connects to Westminster West Road twice -- pass the first entrance, pass Josh Gold Pottery, and then take the second entrance.)  Turn right immediately into the field to park.  The house is the gray cape 100  yards up the dirt road.

 From Points North:
Take Interstate 91 south to Exit 4 and follow the directions above.

From Manchester, Saxtons River and Points West:
Follow Route 11 east through Chester.  When Route 11 turns left, continue straight ahead on Route 103 for about 4 miles.  Turn right on Pleasant Valley Road.  You'll see a sign for Saxton's River.  Pleasant Valley Road takes you into the center of Saxtons River.

Turn right at the west end of Main Street (near the Post Office and Church), go over the bridge and follow the paved road south for about 4 miles to Westminster West village.  Continue until you pass Livewater Farm at about 2.6 miles, then a brick colonial B&B.  Go another .3 miles and turn left onto McKinnon Road.  Turn right immediately and park in the field.  The gray cape and gardens are across the road.
