The 9th annual Westminster Garden Tour will take
place on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and
Sunday, June 27th from noon to 3:00 pm.
This year’s Tour will feature the gardens of Mary and
Gordon Hayward.
The gardens of Toby
Young, Peter and Jill Zachary, Marlene and Ray Kramer, and
Ingrid Buckley are also included in the Tour.

which can be printed on 11" x
14" paper.
Tickets, directions to the gardens and maps will
be available on Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Sunday
from noon to 2 pm
at The Westminster Institute on Route 5, Westminster and the
Gardens of Gordon and Mary Hayward in Westminster West.
Entrance fee is $10.00 per person.
Box lunches will be available at the Westminster Institute and
the Haywards' Gardens - to reserve lunch call (802) 722-3607 or
email.
The proceeds from the tour will support the services and
programs of Westminster Cares, a
volunteer organization whose purpose it is to create
opportunities for seniors and disabled adults to live with
independence and dignity in the community.
Westminster Cares is
committed to promoting programs and services that promote
healthy aging.
There will be a
raffle for prizes that include a painting, a book and a garden
basket.
The drawing will be at the end of the Tour on Sunday, but
participants do not need to be present to win. Everyone
will be a winner with
coupons for Harlow Farm and Morning Star Perennials.
Local musicians will provide music throughout both days.
Refreshments will be available at the
Hayward’s gardens.
You can wander the gardens and listen to beautiful music
surrounded by the incredible flowers.

Members of the Saxtons River Art Guild will
present an art show at the Westminster Institute on the same
weekend as the Westminster Garden Tour, Saturday and Sunday,
June 26th and 27th.
The art guild’s second annual “Garden of Art” will be open to the public free of
charge from 10 am to 2 pm both days.
Original art work will be on display by each artist for
your viewing enjoyment and all work will be for sale at
reasonable prices.
The Saxtons River Art Guild was formed in
1976. The purpose of
the guild is to advance and encourage the fine arts.
10% of all sales will be donated to Westminster Cares.
